Our Team

Our team has over 21 years of collective experience in delivering high quality work in the services provided by Nadat Solicitors. The team has particular expertise in family and matrimonial matters.

We have two members of the team who may work on your matter. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Inayat Nadat, Principal Solicitor.

Inayat Nadat LL.B(Hons); PgDip (Legal Practice), Principal Solicitor

Inayat is the head of our team and has over 21 years' experience as a solicitor in particular in family, matrimonial and children law work, having specialised in these areas since 1995 and prior to qualifying as a solicitor. Inayat has been working in this area since he qualified and has helped thousands of families and individuals.

Inayat qualified as a solicitor in 1998 after gaining a law degree from De Monfort University and having completed his Legal Practice . He completed his training contract at a general high street practice undertaking privately funded and legal aid funded work and worked at different firms before moving on to establishing Nadat Solicitors in 2009. 

Inayat has also completed several professional development courses and maintains his professional development each year. 

Inayat is a member of Resolution - first for family law and became an Resolution Accredited specialist in 2004 in the areas of domestic abuse and children.

Inayat follows the Resolution code of practice which recommends resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way where possible, which helps to promote the best way of achieving a more satisfactory result for his clients. This helps his client's to maintain an amicable relationship with their former partner, particularly when children are involved.

Inayat has also been involved in some notable cases to include a reported case in the Court of Appeal. 

In addition to being a member of Resolution (see above) Inayat is also a member of The Family Law Panel part of OnlyMums and OnlyDads, a not-for-profit social enterprise established in 2008 which has its principle aim to support parents and their families who are going through divorce/separation.

Inayat is also delighted to have contributed to 101 Questions Answered About Seprating with Children, a new book to help separating parents keep their children's best interests first. Nadat Solicitors have been a long-term suppporter of OnlyMums and OnlyDads.

Haroon Vesmawala LL.B(Hons); PgDip (Legal Practice), Associate Solicitor

Haroon has a degree in Law from Huddersfield University and has completed the the Legal Practice Course at the BBP law school in Leeds.

Haroon began his career at Nadat Solicitors in January 2011 as a Family Law Executive and proceeded towards a training contract with us in November 2017. Due to Haroon's extensive legal experience prior to entering into a training contract he was granted a 6 month exemption to his training contract by the SRA . Haroon qualified as a solicitor in May 2019.
